July Black With Two Challenge

Hi everyone
It's been a few weeks since I blogged last - been moving house and getting settled into my new place.
Over at Black With Two the July Challenge is now up - awesome colours. I didn't get a chance to do my DT commitment for July due to moving but I am still going to have a go at it.

Olive Greens and Crystal Blues on a dominant black background with 5% white permisable.   Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. The DT girls have created some amazing layouts and cards.

Where has May gone????

Hi everyone
Oh my gosh - where has May gone - geez - I have been super busy with work and trying fight off the 'flu - I think I have won on the 'flu front' for the time being.
An up date on my entries from the Gundi Show - 2 first places - could not believe it...lol - both for my layouts - super pleased.
How are you all going with your May Challenge over at Black With Two - we have had a few entries, but would love to see more :)  I am currently working on my DT committment for the June Challenge and loving the upcoming colour combo - just wish the glue would hurry up and dry on one part of the LO so I can get it finished. Will post up on 1st June for all to see.
Can't believe two weeks ago I had 4 inches chopped off my hair and am still able to tie it back in a good sized ponytail... if nothing else, the weather up here must make my hair grow very fast.  I am loving the weather here at the moment although everyone is walking around rugged up with overcoats, scarves and gloves - me, well just long pants and a short sleeved shirt...lol...

BW2 is on the look out for new and exciting Designers to join our team ..we are after scrapbookers and card makers to come on a 6 month journey with our amazing blog challenge . 
Your requirements will be to have a blog and FB 
Be able to commit to 1 project each month and be on time every time , promote our challenge where possible on your blog and facebook page and be an active member of our secret FB group where we discuss themes colours and all sorts of scrappy fun . From time to time we may do a swap eg tags and cards in the like, you will be required to join in on these such promotions . so if you think you have what it takes to be able to work with a dominant BLACK background and just a few colours then send us 3-4 examples of your work plus a little about yourself to blackwith2@hotmail.com

Busy, busy, busy....

Hi everyone and welcome to the middle of Autumn - the year is just flying past...
I have been super busy getting all my entries ready for the Goondiwindi Show.   2 entries in the photography section and 3 in scrapbooking and 1 in the card section.  I also managed to get a layout completed for Black with 2.  My scrap room looks like a war zone at the moment..lol.

Black With Two Challenge

Hi everyone, hope you had a wonderful Easter - I worked over the break but did manage to have the best fish meal on Friday night - a mix of Cod, Yellow Belly and Carp - magnifico....

Black with Two's April's Challenge is dominant black with grey & yellow (5% white permitted).  Below is the colour palette and my take on the challenge. I did this LO while I was in Wagga a couple of weeks ago - it is amazing how the 'mojo' comes back when you scrap with friends - thank you Dot & Beve xx
